Lessons Learned & Future Modifications

Lessons Learned:

Our watermaker was old and unreliable.  We will replace before the next trip.

Good red wine is hard to find in Mexico and very expensive.

There is absolutely no reason to take beer to Mexico.

Drop the rudder and have the inside inspected.  We had corrosion and wear which was thankfully found in time.

Old stainless bolts in the spreaders can break suddenly and violently.  Replace these when you replace your standing rigging.

Get a water proof case for the camera.

Don't depend on Yanmar to honor its warranty.

Margaritas are sometimes much stronger than they taste.
